Northern Kingdoms books out soon

With the cover design well underway and final edits almost done, both of the Northern Kingdoms books are set to release later this year! Here's a sneak preview of my own rough doodle for the covers:

The final design will be much better, thanks to the amazing work of snaxk over on tumblr. Check him out here!

I'm hoping to get both The Shades and Mages & Rebels up at the same time, either separately or together in a bundle. Mages & Rebels will also include a bonus chapter from the beginning of Dragon's Teeth, the first book in the Dragonmage series, hopefully out next year!

Has it really been over two years since I last posted anything here? I'd say things have been busy, but really they haven't. There just hasn't been anything going on to post about. I'm not quite sure
